Earth Day began in 1970 when it was created by Wisconsin Senator Gaylord Nelson. It is celebrated every year on April 22nd with the intention of raising awareness about pollution, and taking care of the environment by reducing, reusing and recycling resources.

THIS AND THAT * Say it isn’t so! “NCIS: New Orleans” is done after this season! Their last episode airs in May. I love this series even though I am still not over the fact that the show killed off Christopher LaSalle.
