This And That
* My sister and I attended the Firehouse concert at the Wild West Fest. During one of the songs everyone got out their phones and turned on their flashlights. It was quite an amazing sight! But what I want to know is who remembers when we used to do that very same thing with our Bic cigarette lighters? You didn’t have to smoke cigarettes, you just had to remember to bring a lighter to the concert!
* I would love all of the money that was spent on fireworks this 4th of July! I wonder if I would be just a mere millionaire or a billionaire?
* And now that the 4th of July has been celebrated, brace yourselves for all those back-to-school supplies, Halloween costumes, Thanksgiving menu ideas, Christmas decorations and this year’s latest toys to be coming soon to a store near you!
* Laugh if you get this one…“The employee shortage is so bad that long-haired, freaky people can now apply.”
* I read where these taste better than Twizzlers and are way healthier for you…Preheat an oven to 200F, lay out your strawberries on a parchment-papered pan before putting them in the oven for two hours. Then flip them over and continue to bake for another two hours. I want to try this and have even bought strawberries for this exact reason, but my problem is I do so love to eat just plain fresh strawberries.
* And talking about baking, who has ever read the cooking directions from the package you threw in the garbage?

* What bite of an ice cream cone do you like the best? Is it the very first lick of the curly-q on top or the last ooey-gooey bite of melted ice cream in the bottom of the cone? And do you prefer vanilla, chocolate, swirl or chocolate chip or dip?
