Senior Ethan Means reaches 1000-point milestone

ETHAN MEANS, a senior for the Stockton Tigers, was honored on Friday, February 19, for scoring 1,000 points in his career. Means achieved this milestone during the Stockton vs. Osborne basketball game held on February 12. Among those helping him celebrate prior to the Tigers’ game against Hoxie last Friday were his teammates, as well as several members of the Spirit Squad. Tiger Boys defeat Osborne for second time this season

The Stockton Tigers were at home last Friday for a non-league game with the Osborne Bulldogs. It was the second meeting of the season between the teams, having faced each other in the pre-season tournament in mid-December. The results of the contests were basically the same as they were in the first meeting with the Tiger Boys defeating Osborne 65-50, and the Lady Tigers falling 57-35.
TIGER SENIOR ETHAN MEANS scored 20 points against the Osborne Bulldogs in the February 12 contest played in Stockton.

SWC sends 3 to Oakley Tourney

The Stockton Wrestling Club headed west this past Saturday when they travelled to Oakley for the 2021 Dale Samuelson Memorial Wrestling Tournament. All three members competing placed in the Top 2.

Lowry and Hahn place first at Junior Panther Classic

The Stockton Junior High Tigers competed in the 2021 Junior Panther Classic in Phillipsburg last Saturday. Emerson Lowry (115) and Ashlyn Hahn (Girls 110) each placed first in their respective weight classes, while several other Tigers made the podium. As a team Stockton placed fourth with 51 points. Phillipsburg won the tourney with 213 points.

SHS Lady Tigers get 58-25 win over Northern Valley

The Stockton Lady Tigers picked up their second win of the season with a 58-25 win over Northern Valley last Monday in Almena. The game was a make-up contest from the January 26 date which had been postponed. The Tiger boys had an exciting battle with the Huskies, but ended up falling 60-58.
