SHS Track opens at Hoxie on Friday

The Stockton High School Track Team will travel to Hoxie on Friday for its first meet of the season which is scheduled to begin at 3:00 p.m. The Tigers, who are coached by Clint Bedore and assisted by Janet Kuhlmann and Justin Basart, have 21 (9 girls and 12 boys) on the roster this season.

RoCo Softball season is already underway

The RoCo Softball Team opened its season last Tuesday at home (Plainville), hosting Russell/Victoria. In the first game the Rooks County girls were defeated 17-0 in four innings.

JHET AND HUDSYN HAGAN wrestled at the Wood River, Nebraska Wrestling Tournament this past weekend. Jhet, pictured left, came away with a 1st-place trophy and Hudsyn, pictured right, received a 2nd-place medal. Corky and Linda Hagan are the proud grandparents of the boys.

Softball to open on Tuesday at home

The Plainville-Stockton Softball Team will open its 2021 season next Tuesday when the girls play Russell at Plainville. Action will begin at 4:00 p.m. On Thursday, April 1 they will also be at home, this time against Ellis, with another 4:00 p.m. start.
