SHS Tiger Golf 2021 season in full swing

The Stockton High School Golf season got underway on Tuesday, April 6, when the team traveled to Smith Center. Next Tuesday, April 13, finds the Tigers on the road to Osborne for a tournament set to begin at 1:00 p.m.

SJH Tracksters open season on April 8

The Stockton Junior High Track Team will open its season this Thursday, traveling to Smith Center for a meet set to begin at 3:30 p.m. Coach Jess Billinger and her assistants Alexa Rogers and Jen Kesler have a roster of 49 which includes 21 eighth graders, 11 seventh graders and 17 sixth graders.

SHS Track opens at Hoxie on Friday

The Stockton High School Track Team will travel to Hoxie on Friday for its first meet of the season which is scheduled to begin at 3:00 p.m. The Tigers, who are coached by Clint Bedore and assisted by Janet Kuhlmann and Justin Basart, have 21 (9 girls and 12 boys) on the roster this season.

Spring postseason plan finalized by the KSHSAA Executive Board

The schedule for the KSHSAA State Championship Track and Field Meet has been modified for this year and will be conducted May 27-29. Athletes and schools in all classifications will still compete for state titles at Cessna Stadium on the Wichita State University campus, however, they won’t be competing on the same day.

Hagan Boys place 1st & 2nd

JHET AND HUDSYN HAGAN wrestled at the Wood River, Nebraska Wrestling Tournament this past weekend. Jhet, pictured left, came away with a 1st-place trophy and Hudsyn, pictured right, received a 2nd-place medal. Corky and Linda Hagan are the proud grandparents of the boys.
