Means and Basart win gold at the Grizzly Invitational

Body Kaelyn Means and Rylan Basart each won gold medals at the Grizzly Invitational track meet held last Friday at Rock Hill High School in Mankato. Means placed first in the Discus with a toss of 116’4”, while Basart won the Shot Put for the first time this season with a PR of 43’10”.

Snyder and Hamel capture gold medals at Logan meet

Body At the Logan High School Invitational track meet held last Tuesday, Delany Snyder and Jonathan Hamel captured gold medals for the Tigers. Snyder won the 100M Dash, while Hamel, a freshman, placed first in the 3200M Run with his time of 10:55.13 a new personal record for him.

RoCo girls drop two games at Ellsworth

Body The RoCo girls were on the road to Ellsworth last Friday where they dropped two games to the hosts, 14-3 and 21-10. This Tuesday RoCo was at home for the final time this season, hosting Minneapolis.

Means sets new school record in the Discus

Body Sophomore Kaelyn Means set a new school record in the Discus at the Quinter Invitational track meet held last Friday. Means, who tossed the discus 120’3”, broke Marissa Haines’ old record of 113’3”, set back in 1995, by seven feet, to capture the gold medal.
