Tiger Sharks to host swim meet Saturday

Body This Saturday you can have a chance to watch and cheer on the Stockton Tiger Sharks swim team as they will be hosting a meet at the City of Stockton Swimming Pool. The event will begin at 9:00 a.m., with several towns attending.

Tiger Sharks start season with successful meet at Alma

Body The Stockton Tiger Sharks swim team showed their teeth in their first swim meet of the season on Saturday, June 5th, at Alma, Neb. All relays came away placing in the Top 20 in the league, as well as all the returning swimmers from last year.

Means and Basart medal at State

Body Kaelyn Means and Rylan Basart each brought home a medal from the 2021 KSHSAA Track and Field Championships held last Saturday at Cessna Stadium in Wichita. Means placed second in the Discus, while Basart was fourth in the Javelin.

Body Carson Latham, a senior from Bishop McGuinness Catholic High School in Kernsville, NC, was recently chosen and competed in the 2021 Triad High School Lacrosse Senior All-Star Game held on Monday, May 24.

Krob finishes high school golf on top

Body Parker Krob, a 2021 graduate of Plainville High School and a member of the Plainville Golf Team, recently finished his high school golf career on top after winning the 2A Kansas State Golf Tournament.

Four Tigers qualify for state track meet

Body Four members of the Stockton High School Track Team are headed to the 2021 KSHSAA State Track and Field Championships in Wichita next Saturday, after qualifying at the 1A Regionals in Mankato last Friday.
SHS JUNIOR CAMDEN IWANSKI rounds the curve and heads for the finish line in the 200 Meter Dash finals at Regionals in Mankato last Friday. Iwanski qualified for State, finishing third with a PR time of 23.18.

Means breaks her own school record at the MCL Track Meet

Body Lady Tiger sophomore Kaelyn Means broke her own school record in the Discus at last Thursday’s Mid-Continent League Track Meet held in Hill City. Her toss of 123’1” bested her old record of 120’3”, set at the Quinter track meet on April 30, by nearly three feet.
