A limited number of Stockton Junior High track athletes attended the meet in Northern Valley held recently. Reese Taylor, Haden Hahn, and Carolina Northup each brought home individual gold medals, with several others placing.
The RoCo girls were on the road to Ellsworth last Friday where they dropped two games to the hosts, 14-3 and 21-10. This Tuesday RoCo was at home for the final time this season, hosting Minneapolis.

Last Monday the Stockton Junior High Tiger Track Team traveled to Hill City for a meet on a warm, sunny day. The Tigers won eight events at the meet with the following collecting gold medals: Hunter Howell—Long Jump, Javelin and 200M Dash; Caydance Carter—Shot Put; Ava Dix—200M Dash; Brin Muir—Discus; and the 8th-Grade Girls 4x400M Relay of Aubrey Kesler, Bodye Stithem, Ava Dix, and Ashlyn Hahn.
Sophomore Kaelyn Means set a new school record in the Discus at the Quinter Invitational track meet held last Friday. Means, who tossed the discus 120’3”, broke Marissa Haines’ old record of 113’3”, set back in 1995, by seven feet, to capture the gold medal.

Rooks County Softball girls picked up another win last Tuesday when they split on the road against Republic County. The home team won the first game 5-2, but the RoCo girls came back and won the second one 12-10.
The RoCo Softball girls were swept on the road in their outing against Ellis last Friday, with RoCo falling 15-5 in Game One, and losing 23-18 in Game Two. The first game was close for the first two innings with Ellis leading 4-2 after the first inning, and still on top 7-5 at the end of the second inning.
