Body It was an exciting night of basketball when the Oakley Plainsmen came to Stockton last Friday for a Mid-Continent League matchup with the Tigers. In the girls’ game the Lady Tigers saw their 16-point lead to open the fourth quarter dwindle to one, but they held on for a 39-36 win.

Body The Stockton Tiger Basketball Teams both captured wins over the Plainville Cardinals in a make-up game held last Thursday in Plainville. In the first contest of the evening the Lady Tigers rolled to a 66-34 win over their opponents.

Body ETHAN MEANS, a senior for the Stockton Tigers, was honored on Friday, February 19, for scoring 1,000 points in his career. Means achieved this milestone during the Stockton vs. Osborne basketball game held on February 12.

Body The Stockton Tigers were at home last Friday for a non-league game with the Osborne Bulldogs. It was the second meeting of the season between the teams, having faced each other in the pre-season tournament in mid-December.

Body The Stockton Wrestling Club headed west this past Saturday when they travelled to Oakley for the 2021 Dale Samuelson Memorial Wrestling Tournament. All three members competing placed in the Top 2.

Body The Stockton Junior High Tigers competed in the 2021 Junior Panther Classic in Phillipsburg last Saturday. Emerson Lowry (115) and Ashlyn Hahn (Girls 110) each placed first in their respective weight classes, while several other Tigers made the podium.

Body The Stockton Lady Tigers picked up their second win of the season with a 58-25 win over Northern Valley last Monday in Almena. The game was a make-up contest from the January 26 date which had been postponed.
