Lady Tigers hold on to defeat Oakley

Body
It was an exciting night of basketball when the Oakley Plainsmen came to Stockton last Friday for a Mid-Continent League matchup with the Tigers. In the girls’ game the Lady Tigers saw their 16-point lead to open the fourth quarter dwindle to one, but they held on for a 39-36 win. The Stockton boys weren’t quite as fortunate. After leading for much of the game, the final quarter and a half was a back-and-forth battle, with the Tigers coming out on the short end of a 46-42 score.
