The menus for the week of Monday, October 4, are as follows: Monday—Ham and potato casserole, green beans, bread, hot cinnamon pears. Tuesday—Chicken dressing casserole, broccoli, bread, fruit crisp. Wednesday—Chicken noodle soup, spinach salad, crackers, mixed fruit.

The Daily Grind in Stockton has announced its new hours starting this Friday, October 1st. The new hours are as follows: Closed on Sunday and Monday; open from 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday; and open from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.

The Stockton Recreation Commission will be hosting an Adult Softball Tournament on Saturday, October 16th in Stockton. The cost is $150.00 per team with registration due by Wednesday, October 13th. There will be a two-game guarantee using SRC Adult League/ USSSA rules.

There will be a government surplus commodities distribution on Monday, September 27th for those in the Stockton and Plainville areas. In Stockton, the distribution will be held on Monday, September 27th from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. at the VFW Hall.

Stockton’s annual Fall City-Wide Garage Sale is set for this Saturday, September 25th from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon.
