The menus for the week beginning Monday, April 19th, are as follows: Monday—Chicken fried chicken, hashbrown casserole, Scandanavian blend vegetables, bread, mandarin oranges. Tuesday—Ham and beans, broccoli salad, cornbread, rosy applesauce. Wednesday—Taco burger with lettuce, cheese and tomato, Mexicali corn, bun, peaches. Thursday— Smothered steak, mashed potatoes, green beans, bread, mixed fruit. Friday—Chicken and rice casserole, mixed vegetables, bread, tropical fruit.

Webster’s Plant House is now open at its new location!

Spring planting time has arrived and with it the opening of Webster’s Plant House at 2155 I Terrace in Stockton (located approximately three miles east on Highway 24 and half a mile south; or check out Google Map for location). The Plant House (785-425-6317) has a nice selection of bedding plants, veggies, flowers, potting soil and more for all you gardeners! Business hours are 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday through Friday, and from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
