The Stockton Public Library is now offering curbside services only on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Please place your holds online or call 785-425-6372. The Library staff will inform you when the items are ready to be picked up.
A Household Disaster Distribution will be held in Stockton and Plainville on Friday, June 5th. The emergency commodities may be picked up at the VFW in Stockton from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., and at the Knights of Columbus Hall, 204 North Irving in Plainville from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
There will be a government surplus commodities distribution this Friday, May 22, from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m., at the Stockton VFW (please enter through the front door at 314 Main Street).

The Stockton High School Alumni banquet and reunion that was scheduled for Sunday, May 24th has been cancelled for this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic. And along with the cancellation of the reunion, the Stockton VFW Post #8873 has cancelled all Memorial Day services for Monday, May 25th.
The Stockton Sentinel was informed last week by the Athlon Media Group (AMG Parade) that American Profile will cease publication after its April 2020 (this week’s) issue.

The Rooks County Sheriff’s Department will help deliver groceries or medical supplies as needed to those citizens who live outside the city limits of Palco, Plainville and Stockton (these cities already have delivery systems in place).
