The Rooks County Commissioners recently made the decision to cut back the employee hours to 36 instead of the traditional 40 hours for the remainder of this year and the 2021 year.
The Stockton PRIDE committee meeting was held on Tuesday, September 15th at the Stockton City Office. President Amber Muir called the meeting to order and Kayla Hilbrink gave the Treasurer’s Report. The balance for the organization is $1,108.61 with all bills paid to date.
Mark your calendars for the Stockton PRIDE committee monthly meeting days! They will now be held on the third Tuesday of the month at the Stockton City Hall during the noon hour. The meetings for the remainder of the year are: September 15th, October 20th, November 17th, and December 15th.
Stockton’s City-Wide Garage Sale will be held from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon on Saturday, September 26th. The cost to have your name and address printed on the city map is $10.00 per location.
The Stockton PRIDE monthly meeting will be held on Tuesday, September 8th during the noon hour at the Chamber Office. The next Chamber meeting will be held later that evening at Lucky’s Speed Shop at 603 Main Street at 6:15 p.m. for social time and at 6:30 p.m. for the meeting.
The September 24th Sentinel will include our annual Homecoming Feature, with individual pictures of the Tiger athletes (football, volleyball and cross country), coaching staff, and Spirit Squad, sponsored by local merchants, organizations, and individuals.
