The regular monthly meeting of the Rooks County Health Center board of directors will be held Tuesday, January 26, at 6:00 p.m. in the hospital’s meeting room.

The Rooks County Conservation District annual meeting will be held on Monday, February 1st at the Rooks County Fairgrounds Harding Hall. A Comeand-Go will be from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. with the meeting to start at 6:00 p.m.

Both Commodity Distributions set for Monday, Jan. 25th
There will be a government surplus commodities distribution the week of January 25th for those in the Plainville and Stockton areas. Plainville will hold its distribution on Monday, January 25th from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m.

Governor Laura Kelly directs flags be flown at half-staff to honor 3,027 Kansans who lost their lives to COVID-19
Kansas surpassed 3,000 Kansas deaths due to COVID-19. In honor of the lives lost and the families they left behind, Governor Laura Kelly has directed that flags be lowered to half-staff throughout the state Thursday, January 7, 2021, from sunup to sundown.
