Hong Quang Nguyen, 60, passed away at his home in Hays on March 14, 2026.He was born on June 14, 1965, in Saigon, Vietnam, to Nguyen Thi Ngot. In 1989, Hong came to the United States, first settling in Houston, then Dallas, before moving to Garden City, and eventually making his home in Hays.

Roberta June Hashenberger, age 86, of Hays, Kansas, passed away Thursday, February 5, 2026, in Hays. She was born in Portis, Kansas, on June 29, 1939, to William and Leeon (Griswould) McDaneld., On November 24, 1957 she married Vernon Gene Hashenberger in Plainville, Kansas.
