Jesse Duane Hulse, of Stockton, Kansas, passed away on December 20, 2025, at the Rooks County Health Center in Plainville, Kansas, at the age of 65.

Monte J. Inghram, 74, of Phillipsburg, passed away December 15, 2025, at Phillips County Hospital in Phillipsburg.

He was born on July 27, 1951, in Newton, Kansas, to Kenneth and Naomi (Becker) Inghram. Monte married Elaine Novotny on February 14, 1992, in Newton.

Monte devoted 34 years of service to the City of Newton Parks Department, working in maintenance until his retirement.

Ronald Blake “Ronnie” Strutt, 83, passed away on December 13, 2025, in Stockton. 

He was born on December 14, 1941, in Beloit, Kansas, to John Baptist and Esther Elizabeth (Worden) Strutt. He grew up in Rooks County and graduated from Woodston High School in 1960. After graduation, Ronnie was offered a full scholarship to the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (M.I.T.) but chose instead to remain close to home to help his father on the family farm.

Robert Lawrence Brogden Sr., 92, passed away peacefully on December 8, 2025, surrounded by family at the Reno County Hospice House in Hutchinson.

He was born June 1, 1933, in Chattanooga, Tennessee, to Delta Homer Brogden, Sr., and Ruby Grace Willis.   He was the eldest of eight siblings: Silvia, Franklin, Deneice, Linda, Carolyn, Jeanette, Delta, Jr., and John Henry.

Roger Lynn Corwin, age 66, of Russell, Kansas, passed away surrounded by loved ones on Thursday, December 4, 2025, in Stockton, Kansas.

He was born on September 1, 1959, in Plainville, Kansas, to Albert  “Bud” and Mary (Dougherty) Corwin. Roger grew up in Plainville, Kansas, and graduated from Plainville High School in 1977. He also attended Vo-Tech College for auto mechanics and diesel mechanics.
