Donald “Don” D. Farr, 96, of Stockton, KS, passed away on February 1, 2026, at Solomon Valley Manor in Stockton.
He was born on March 20, 1929, on the family farm near Stockton, Kansas, to Roy George and Ellen Aukus Farr.
Matthew Aaron “Matt” Markley, age 48, of Hays, passed away Tuesday morning, January 27, 2026, at the University of Kansas Medical Center in Kansas City, Kansas, after a courageous six-year battle with cancer.
He was born on August 23, 1977, in Hays, Kansas, to Rick Markley and Kimberly Weigel. Matt was a 1996 graduate of Hays High School.
At the young age of 30, Clarence Robert Christopher Foster received his Angel Wings after an unexpected, sudden death on Wednesday, January 28th, 2026, at SSM St. Anthony Hospital in Oklahoma City, Okla.
Clarence, who went by Chris most of his life, was born on December 7th, 1995, to the late Robert Foster and Tammy Foster in Branson, Missouri.
Chris grew up in Palco, Kansas, where he also attended school. Later, moving to Oklahoma shortly after the death of his father, Robert Foster, in May of 2012.
Kenneth “Kennie” Eugene Breeden passed away on Wednesday, January 28, 2026, at Dawson Place in Hill City, Kansas, at the age of 90.
He was born March 6, 1935, in Sheridan County, Kansas, the only child of Forrest (F.I.) and Ethel (Reiter) Breeden. Raised in rural Sheridan County, Kennie learned early the values of hard work, responsibility, and taking pride in what you do, always making a point to be on time. He attended country school and graduated from Quinter High School in 1952.
Kent Carmichael, 77, of Manhattan, passed away peacefully at home on January 27, 2026, surrounded by his loving wife and daughters.
Kent was born on December 17, 1948, in Hays, Kansas, to Elmo and Verna Jane (Thompson) Carmichael. He grew up on the Saline River and graduated from Plainville High School in 1966.
