Patsy Sue Mull, 87, passed away peacefully on October 26, 2025, surrounded by loved ones at her home in Great Bend, Kansas.

Born August 20, 1938, in Larned, she was the daughter of William Edward and Florence (Dipman) Smith. On April 5, 1958, she married Gene Mull at Trinity Lutheran Church in Great Bend. They were blessed with 57 years until he passed away on September 2, 2015.

Riley Dean Faris, 30, of Salina, Kansas, unexpectedly passed away on October 17, 2025, following a motorcycle accident.

He was born September 20, 1995, in Plainville, Kansas, to parents, Tiny and Linda (Stithem) Faris.

He was a beloved son, brother, uncle, and the best friend. He was a man of quick wit with a bigger heart than most, and had an uncanny ability to bring laughter to any situation. To know Riley was to love him. He would give anything to help in any capacity he could.

Larry B. Rapp, age 65, passed away peacefully at his home in Woodston, Kansas, on October 9, 2025.

He was born on January 29, 1960, in Pittsburg, California, to Bill and Erma (McGill) Rapp. Larry graduated from Pittsburg High School in 1977 and later attended Devry Advanced Auto School in Arizona, where he deepened his passion for cars and mechanics.

Vula (Felderman) Roy-Gager, a longtime resident of Rooks County, passed away on October 8, 2025, at Solomon Valley Manor in Stockton, Kansas, at the age of 100.

Joan M. Hull, 84, Tucson, Ariz., passed away on Wednesday, October 8, 2025.

She was born on April 10, 1941, in Leavenworth, the daughter of John and Florence (Stearman) Russ.

She was married on December 31, 1983, to Darrell Hull in Las Vegas. He passed away on February 21, 2012.

Joan had a long-standing career in real estate in Tucson and was a faithful servant and supporter of Oro Valley Church.

She was preceded in death by a son, Jacey Lee Schneider, Kansas City, Mo., twin brother John H. Russ, Jr., and spouse, Darrell Hull.

Darrell James Kriley, 81, Plainville, passed away on September 13, 2025.

He was born on May 14, 1944, in Hays, Kansas, to Gerald and Feliceine (Parker) Kriley.

Darrell attended Sacred Heart Grade School in Plainville and graduated from Plainville High School in 1962.

He was a proud United States Navy and Vietnam veteran, serving from 1964 to 1968. Following his discharge, he returned to Kansas and completed a course of study in carpentry. After a year as a carpenter, he transitioned to working in the oil field, where he worked for several decades.

Freda Merle Hassell, 93, Edmond, Okla., passed away on July 10, 2025.

She was born on November 9, 1931, in Rogers County, Oklahoma, to Claude C. and Delitha Lucille Sprinkle.

Her family moved to Alma, Nebraska, in 1943, when her father (deceased in 1966) took a job with the Kansas-Nebraska Gas Company. Her mother (deceased in 2002) is buried in the Hill City, Kansas, cemetery.

Clair Joseph Rogers, age 76, of Liebenthal, passed away Sunday, September 28, 2025, at the Good Samaritan Society of Hays.

He was born on October 26, 1948, in Hays, Kansas, to Clair Joseph and Norma Lea (Scott) Rogers. On December 19, 1970, he married Alberta June Groff in Plainville, Kansas.
