Joseph Andrew “Joe” Couse, of Stockton, passed away on July 31, 2025, at Chi Health Bergan Mercy in Omaha, Neb., at the age of 47.
He was born on September 7, 1977, to John and Barbara (Hollar) Couse in Plainville, Kansas.
Joe grew up in the Osborne area and graduated from Osborne High School with the Class of 1996. On February 29, 2008, he married Bethany Pruett in WaKeeney, Kansas. They made their home in Stockton and built a beautiful life and family together.

Edna Bernice Frenzl, age 89, of Hays, Kansas, passed away on Wednesday, July 23, 2025, at her home.
She was born on April 7, 1936, in rural Graham County, Kansas, to Henry and Mable (Rolland) Kolste. She married Lawrence “Larry” Frenzl on August 29, 1952, in Bentonville, Arkansas. He preceded her in death on August 8, 2012.
Carlene (Barlow) Bryant, of Stockton and formerly of Quinter, passed away on July 21, 2025, at the Logan County Senior Living in Oakley, Kansas, at the age of 75.
Carlene was born on November 29, 1949, to Robert “Joe” and Ruth (Stephenson) Barlow in Amarillo, Texas. Carlene graduated from Spring Woods High School in Houston, Texas, in 1968. She continued her education at Texas Tech University, where she received her degree in Education.
Lorna Lee (Vogel) Green, age 64, of Phillipsburg, passed away Friday evening, July 11, 2025, at Phillips County Retirement Center.
She was born February 23, 1961, at Phillips County Hospital, the daughter of the late Arnold and Bonnie (Smith) Vogel, of Phillipsburg, Kansas.
Lorna graduated from Phillipsburg High School in 1979. She then attended and graduated from Beauty School in Salina, and years later graduated from NCK Tech of Hays with her LPN License.
She was a member of the Kingdom Hall and a former nurse, beautician, Mother, and Grandmother.
