David John “Big D” Koehler, of Plainville, passed away on February 5, 2026, from Hodgkin's Lymphoma, peacefully surrounded by family and friends at the Rooks County Health Center in Plainville, just 6 days before his 79th birthday.

Mary Evalyn (Towns) Eaton was born January 8, 1932, near Palco, Kansas, to Abiram Brooks Towns and Myrtle Caroline (Truesdell) Towns. She grew up in western Kansas and attended Palco High School, forming the roots of a life that would remain closely tied to family, faith, and home.

Matthew Aaron “Matt” Markley, age 48, of Hays, passed away Tuesday morning, January 27, 2026, at the University of Kansas Medical Center in Kansas City, Kansas, after a courageous six-year battle with cancer.He was born on August 23, 1977, in Hays, Kansas, to Rick Markley and Kimberly Weigel.
