Randy Dee Cline, 70, of Luray, Kansas, passed away peacefully Saturday, February 7, 2026, at his home.

Randy was born May 18, 1955, in Ransom, Kansas. He was one of four children born to John, Jr. and Emma Arlene (Coker) Cline. He grew up in Beeler, Kansas, and Ness City, Kansas, and then, when he was in the eighth grade, his family moved to Wa-Keeney, Kansas. He was a Class of 1973 graduate of Trego Community High School.

Randy served his country in the US Army from 1973 to 1979. He spent fourteen months in Korea as a mechanic. After his tour of duty, Randy and his family returned to WaKeeney.

Randy was united in marriage to Sandra Wagoner on August 8, 1974, at Ft. Hood, Texas. This union was blessed with three children: Andrew, Brandon, and Candance. After leaving the military, they made their home in Ness City before returning to WaKeeney.

Randy was a welder most of his life. He worked in the oil fields off and on for many years. He also worked at Land Pride and Lake Wilson Marina.

Randy’s surviving family includes his wife of 51 years, Sandra of the home; son, Andrew Cline (Caralee) of Plainville; daughter-in-law, Tammy Cline of Luray; daughter, Candance Jewert (Jason) of Hudson, Colo.; brother, Daniel Cline (Cynthia) of Wa-Keeney; and six grandchildren.

Randy was preceded in death by his parents, his son, Brandon Cline, his brother, John Allen Cline, and his sister, Linda Cline.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, February 26, 2026, at Pohlman-Varner- Peeler Mortuary in Russell. Burial of Ashes will follow at the WaKeeney City Cemetery in WaKeeney at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, February 26, 2026, where Military Rites will be conducted by the Ft. Riley Honor Guard.

The family requests memorial donations to the Luray Fire Department. Contributions and condolences may be sent to Pohlman-Varner-Peeler Mortuary, which is in charge of these arrangements.
