She was born on July 10, 1947 at the family farm in rural Natoma to Erle Edmond and Leona Martha (Chrisler) Beck. She was married to Harvey Fry on November 26, 1968 in state of Washington.

She was born Sept. 12, 1913, in Plainville, to Wallace and Mae Anna (Cronin) Phillips.
On April 23, 1938, in Plainville, she married her dance partner and best friend Thomas C. Allen, a printer and linotype operator at The Plainville Times. They rode a train through dust storms to honeymoon in Colorado.
Tom and Gladys were married 63 years before he died on Nov. 5, 2001.
Robert “Bob” Harlan Gilbert passed away on September 27, 2020, at the Redbud Village Nursing Home in Plainville, at the age of 84.
He was born on March 12, 1936, in Plainville to Harlan and Doris (Phillips) Gilbert. He married Joan “Jody” Maxine Waterman on February 15, 1958 in Plainville. They were blessed with three children: Brad, Melane, and Michele.
Jean LaVon Hunt passed away on Thursday, September 17, 2020 at the Rooks County Health Center in Plainville, Kansas, at the age of 93.
She was born on October 8, 1926 to William and Myrtle (Sines) Lafferty in Otis, Colorado. She grew up in Marion, Nebraska and attended Danbury High School where she graduated with the Class of 1945.
On August 9, 1945 she married Jesse Hunt. The couple moved to Palco in 1970 where she was a homemaker and raised their children. For many years she was a member of the Redline Church of God in Palco.
Funeral services for Cecil L. Overlease, age 89, of Truth or Consequences, New Mexico, will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, September 24, 2020, at the Kansas Veterans Cemetery near Manhattan, Kansas with Reverend Dale Engle officiating. Military honors will be provided by the Ft. Riley Honor Guard. Cecil passed away Tuesday, September 15, at his home in T or C.
Gerald F. “Jerry” Ruder was called to his heavenly home on Friday, September 11, 2020 at the Rooks County Health Center in Plainville, at the age of 83.
He was born to Leo and Bridget (Bieker) Ruder on December 6, 1936, in rural Rooks County. He was united in marriage to Sonja (Grieve) Ruder on December 28, 1960, and was blessed with two daughters: Jacqueline and Bridget.
Patricia “Pat” Louise (Blass) Weidenhaft, Stockton, passed away on September 12, 2020, at the Hays Medical Center in Hays, KS, from a courageous battle with cancer at the age of 66.
Cecilia Rose Graf, age 7, of Abilene, passed away tragically Wednesday, September 9, 2020.
She was born August 7, 2013 in Salina, the beautiful daughter of Shawn and Lacy (Kraushaar) Graf.
Cecilia was in the 1st grade and attended St. Andrew’s Catholic School. She loved the outdoors, going fishing, helping with the cows and loved playing with her brother and two sisters any chance she got. She was a very proud girl and a great helper around the house.
Marion Renner, retired teacher, full time mother and eternal hell raiser checked out on September 7th, 2020. She was born at home in Zurich, Kansas on July 12, 1933 and often told folks she was “homemade." From this humble beginning in the farmlands of Northwest Kansas she went on to far greater things.
