After seven and a half years of teaching at Stockton Grade School, Laura Moffet has assumed a new position in the District as the high school assistant principal and student success coordinator. In her previous role at the middle school, Moffet taught social studies, science, and entrepreneurship.
A Woodston man has been sentenced to just over three years in prison for his actions at the Alta Convenience Store located at 101 South Washington in Plainville. Chief Judge of the 23rd Judicial District, Judge Curtis Brown, issued the sentence on April 9, 2025.
