Sugarplum Market Crafts & More in Hill City this Saturday
Santa's elves will not want to miss this opportunity to check things off Santa's list. Sugarplum Market, Hill City's annual arts and crafts fair, will be held Saturday, November 22, from 10 A.M. to 3 P.M. Those who want to start their holiday shopping, buy baked goods for the upcoming holidays, purchase home décor, clothing, or gifts will not be disappointed in the vendors for this year's Market. Visitors will find both buildings at the Graham County Fairgrounds and the gym at Hill City Grade School full of craftsmen, artists, and direct sales vendors.
Foodies will love the variety of specialty foods and baked goods offered at the Market. At press time, over 70 vendors are expected to participate, with a few more expected by Market time, making it the largest Sug- arplum Market to date.
Sugarplum Market strives to bring in vendors that offer a variety of products. This year, you can find offerings from a quilt shop, sewn items, crocheted items, wood crafts, jewelry, holiday decorations, artwork, candles, handmade lotions and soaps, and a large variety of crafts will also be available. There will be baked goods, pies, cinnamon rolls, homemade noodles, homemade jams and jellies, barbecue sauces, bierocks, pork rinds, flavored popcorn, and more to help you with your holiday food needs.
Several home-based direct sales businesses will be joining with the artists and craftsmen to help with your holiday gift shopping. Planners of the event believe they have the biggest variety of vendors and a price range for every shopper at this year's Market. For a sneak peek at what vendors will be bringing to the Sugarplum Market, be sure to like their Facebook page, Sugarplum Market.
A concession stand will be available throughout the day at the fairgrounds.
It will feature breakfast items, gourmet coffee, hot drinks, homemade soups, sandwiches, and pies, along with other traditional concession stand fare.
'We are beyond pleased that we have been able to make the Sugarplum Market grow and that would not have happened without the tremendous support Graham County and the surrounding area has given to this event,' says Kathy Hofstetter, one of the planners of the event. 'We are very pleased to work with and the Hill City Grade School PTO to make the Sugarplum more of a destination event that makes it worth the drive for out-oftown visitors.' 'Please join us for a fun day, it's a great way to kick off your holiday season,' say members of the Hofstetter family.
