Governor Laura Kelly announced Thursday, August 18, that sportsbooks at Kansas’ four state-owned casinos can begin accepting wagers in person and on mobile platforms starting September 1, 2022, and will officially open September 8.

By V irgi L aska Stockton Sentinel Starting off the August 16th regular meeting of the Rooks County Commission, Tim Berland gave his weekly report stating he had received a complaint on U Road between 7 and 9 Roads.

The annual dove-hunting season in Kansas begins next Thursday, September 1st and runs until November 29th.The daily bag limit of 15 applies to mourning and whitewinged doves, single species or in combination.
