You have most likely heard the expression “famous last words.” The phrase is often used when someone makes a statement that is shown to be very wrong. But the term originally referred to the actual dying words of prominent people.

“We are an Easter people, and Alleluia is our song.” This is Pope John Paul II’s most famous Easter reflection, meant to encourage joy, hope, and faith over despair.

He Is Risen Indeed; Go and Testify! Acts 10:34-43 After affirming God’s impartiality, Peter outlines Jesus’ ministry, passion, and resurrection. He stresses that all disciples, including us, must testify about the risen Christ, judge of all and source of forgiveness.

Easter is today, and what a great day it is! The tomb is empty snd because of that, we have many blessings through our risen Savior! It is the most joyful day of the year; nothing else compares to it!

Can you escape an escape room? During “I MATTER” Monday, K–1 students (and a few 2nd graders) took on a Roblox Escape challenge. They had 10 puzzles to solve in one hour. They quickly shifted from individual play to teamwork, but in the end, the game won. We still let them “escape” at 5:00 p.m.!

Happy Sunday, everyone! I’ve felt like I’ve been through a war zone, let me fill you in. Please remember, I am a bit dramatic. I’ve been suffering from a stubborn headache since Saturday. Apparently, my head decided to throw a weekend-long party without inviting me, and now I’m paying the price.

The March 23, 2026, meeting of the Hobart Homemakers FCE ladies was held at Stockton Church of the Restoration at 7 p.m. We first had a presentation by the Gambling Literacy, an organization that helps gamblers deal with their addiction.
