Body The Council of the City of Woodston met in the Council Chamber at City Hall on Monday, January 12th, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. Mayor April Yakish called the meeting to order. Council members present were Kate Terry, Thomas Yakish, Bill Dibble, Charles O’Neill, and Larry Morgan.

Body Jolie Kuhn of Palco was among more than 700 Emporia State University undergraduates recognized on the university's honor roll for the fall 2025 semester. Kuhn, an Elementary Education major, earned this distinction by achieving a minimum 3.
