The menus for the Senior Centers in Rooks County for the week beginning Monday, April 6, are as follows: Monday—Chicken strips, mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans, bread, tropical fruit. Tuesday—Taco salad with lettuce, tomato, and onion, chips, pineapple, cookie.

“Hosanna to the Son of David!” Palm Sunday marked the beginning of Holy Week, the reliving of the final seven days of Jesus' earthly ministry.

First Christian Church welcomed Aaron Cunningham this Palm Sunday to deliver a message of hope and deliverance leading into Easter Sunday. The message focused on the trial of Jesus in Luke 23 before his crucifixion.
