So there I was, determined to make the most of my Sunday. Maybe get some chores done, enjoy the sunshine, and brace myself for the week ahead. But somehow, I ended up taking a seven- hour nap that would make Rip Van Winkle proud. Yes, I’m fully aware that I’ll be awake just long enough to say hello to Monday morning. Which feels like hitting the pause button on my Sunday and waking up just in time for the chaos of the new week. But honestly, if the weather forecast for this upcoming week is anything like what I saw, bright skies, warm breezes, and maybe a few good hair days, then I’d say my extended nap was a divine recharge. After all, God is with us through every snooze, every stretch, and every overslept moment, reminding us that even in our most embarrassing, sleep-induced moments, we’re still loved, supported, and probably in need of a little extra rest. Sometimes, it’s okay to hit pause, nap a little longer, and trust that everything will be just fine. Because with God on our side, even the longest Sunday naps are part of His plan.

“The water that I shall give will become a spring of eternal life.” In Sunday’s Gospel reading from John 4:5-42, we read the story of the Woman at the Well. When Jesus meets the Samaritan woman at the well, he offers her “living water,” the grace that satisfies the deepest thirst of every human heart.

The library has been full of activities for patrons of all ages. The Community Room has been a hot commodity. It is used for Girl Scouts, insurance meetings, a very fun Blending workshop, not to mention all the library programs. We love having it available for the community to use, I mean COMMUNITY is right in the name.
