Body

During the spring 2026 semester, an impressive 5,100 Kansas State University students achieved semester honors, with six outstanding students representing Rooks County.

To qualify for semester honors, students must earn a grade point average of 3.75 or higher while completing at least 12 graded credit hours.

These students receive commendations from their deans, and the honors become a permanent part of their academic records. This semester’s Rooks County honorees are Bryan Garvert, Gracie Kerns, and Peyton Thummel from Plainville, along with Rachel Dryden, Jonathan Hamel, and Cappi Hoeting from Stockton.
