Paradise Lodge #290 has been active in the community lately, most recently participating in the Plainville Memorial Library’s “I Matter Monday” after‑school program. Lodge members spent the afternoon playing games and interacting with local students, making the event enjoyable for everyone involved.

In the February 12th Plainville City Council article, it should have read that the Council voted to donate $5,000.00 to the Heartland Community Foundation, and that Ryan Weltmer will remain the council president for this term.

It’s Sunday, the day when everything slows down, and we’re reminded of what truly matters: worshiping God and, of course, indulging in a good old-fashioned nap. Today, I took that to heart, dedicating myself to a fourhour session of divine rest that bordered on spiritual enlightenment. Somewhere between whispering prayers and sinking deeper into my pillow, I realized that Sundays are about more than just chores or errands. They’re about honoring the sacred tradition of doing absolutely nothing productive. Only after making sure you’ve worshipped God and given Him all your praise. Today, I’ve fully embraced the divine balance of worship and laziness. Proving once and for all that sometimes, another way to praise is to simply lie down and let your soul recharge.
