The RoCo Softball Team picked up its first win of the season with an 18-6 win over the Ness City Eagles last Tuesday in Ness City. After dropping the first game 0-16, the RoCo came on strong in game two, to earn the win.

Stockton’s 8th-grade girls’ 4 x 200 Meter Relay of Saj Snyder, Temprance Northup, Caydance Carter and Baileigh Balthazor brought home gold medals from the 2022 Phillipsburg Middle School Invitational Track & Field Meet held on Thursday, April 14.

With continuous high-gusting winds blowing, it was a very unpleasant day for at track meet, however, the Stockton Tiger Track Team didn’t let that stop them from making a good showing at the Kaser Relays in Osborne last Friday.

The Plainville Invitational golf tournament was held last Monday evening at Rooks County Golf Course. Six teams competed in the 18-hole event with Hill City winning the Best 4 title with a score of 334. Phillipsburg was second with 375 points, and Osborne was third with 402 points.

Although improvement is being made, the RoCo Softball Team is still looking for its first win of the season. The girls kicked off their 2022 schedule traveling to Russell to take on Russell/Victoria. RoCo Softball was defeated 0-15 and 8-21 in the doubleheader.
