Ashlyn Hahn places third at 3-2-1A State Wrestling Tourney in Salina

Stockton freshman Ashlyn Hahn made history once again when she earned herself a third-place medal at the 4A-1A Girls Wrestling State Championship last Wednesday and Thursday at the Tony’s Event Center in Salina. She and Raven Long were the first girls from Stockton to ever qualify for state wrestling, but now Hahn will also be remembered as the first female from SHS to earn a medal at State.

SHS Lady Tigers’ season comes to an end with loss to Mustangs

The Stockton Lady Tigers saw their season come to and end last Friday evening when the Sylvan-Lucas Lady Mustangs defeated them 47-31 in the first round of the Class 1A, Div. I Sub-State Basketball Tournament in Sylvan Grove. The Lady Tigers, who had just three seniors (Olivia Dix, Delany Snyder and Michel Smith) on the squad, finished with a record of 4-17.
