Last Thursday the RoCo Softball Team was on the road to take on Sylvan-Lucas/Lincoln, losing both games of the doubleheader by scores of 0-10. Sylvan-Lucas’ pitcher, Sophie Pancost, had RoCo’s number as the Cardinals could only manage one hit in each of the games.

Stockton hosted the 2022 Stockton Middle School Invitational last Tuesday at Tiger Stadium, with the 7th-grade boys, who scored 123 points, winning their division of the meet. Stockton outlasted Osborne Junior High who placed second with 110 points.

The Stockton Junior High Tigers traveled to Smith Center on Thursday, April 7, for their first track meet of the season. It was a tough meet with Beloit, Concordia, Ellsworth, Minneapolis, Pike Valley, Stockton, TMP and the host Redmen participating.

With temperatures near 90 and winds gusting in the upper 30s, it certainly wasn’t the best day for a track meet, but the Stockton Tigers didn’t let it bother them as they collected several gold medals on the day.
