Basart wins two individual golds at Plainville Invitational

Tiger senior Rylan Basart earned himself two individual gold medals last Tuesday at Plainville, winning both the Javelin and Shot Put. His throw of 179- 02 in the Javelin, which was nearly 30 feet further than the second-place finisher, was a PR for Basart.

RoCo Softball Team gets 18-6 win over Ness City

The RoCo Softball Team picked up its first win of the season with an 18-6 win over the Ness City Eagles last Tuesday in Ness City. After dropping the first game 0-16, the RoCo came on strong in game two, to earn the win.

8th-Grade Girls’ 4 x 200M Relay wins at Phillipsburg Invitational

Stockton’s 8th-grade girls’ 4 x 200 Meter Relay of Saj Snyder, Temprance Northup, Caydance Carter and Baileigh Balthazor brought home gold medals from the 2022 Phillipsburg Middle School Invitational Track & Field Meet held on Thursday, April 14. That would be the only gold medals won by the Tigers, however, the athletes made a good showing, with several placing in the top six. Other teams competing in the meet were: Colby, Norton, Plainville, Smith Center, Trego and the host Panthers.

Despite weather conditions Tigers fare well at Osborne

With continuous high-gusting winds blowing, it was a very unpleasant day for at track meet, however, the Stockton Tiger Track Team didn’t let that stop them from making a good showing at the Kaser Relays in Osborne last Friday. Rylan Basart (Javelin), Ava Dix (200M), Kaelyn Means (Discus) and Breckyn Williams (100M Hurdles) each brought home individual gold medals, while the Stockton girls’ 4 x 100M Relay of Delany Snyder, Katlyn Couse, Ava Dix and Jalia Creighton also captured gold.
