The Stockton Junior High volleyball and football seasons open this week with the girls playing on Monday, and both the girls and boys on the road to Trego on Thursday. On September 8 the Tigers will be at home, hosting Ellis.

Last Saturday the Stockton Lady Tigers JV girls were in Phillipsburg for a JV Volleyball Tournament. The girls came home with third place, defeating Ellis and Colby, but falling to Phillipsburg. On Tuesday, the Lady Tigers were in Smith Center for a triangular with Ellis and the host Lady Red.

The Stockton Junior High and High School Cross Country Teams will open their seasons this Saturday when they travel to Hays for the TMP Meet. Runners will take the course at 9:00 a.m.

Several of the Tiger sports seasons get underway in the next week with the Stockton Tigers football team traveling to WaKeeney this Friday for a Jamboree with Trego, Oberlin and Quinter, beginning at 7:00 p.m.
