“Amazing grace! How sweet the sound, that saved a wretch like me.” These famous words are the opening verse of one of our most beloved Christian hymns. It was with those hymnal words that Daryl Sherraden ended his message this week on grace, but they summarize well the entire message.

The Linotype, once known as the 8th Wonder of the World, was invented by Ottmar Mergenthaler. At 18 years of age Mergenthaler emigrated to the United States from Germany in 1872.

Stockton High School students and KAY members Delanee Bedore, Taigen Kerr, and Addie Struckhoff have been career KLC campers and have represented Stockton’s KAY Club very well each year at Rock Springs Ranch. This year the campwas held from July 25th through July 27th. Delanee and Taigen have attended KLC for four years each, and Addie has attended five years as she attended the remote sessions during Covid.

This year’s Stockton FFA officers, president Cappi Hoeting, vice president Bodye Stithem, secretary Brin Muir, treasurer Rachel Dryden, reporter Ryan Mongeau and Sentinel Rivver Long recently attended the FFA Officer Retreat in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.
