The Stockton Fire Department answered a call on Sunday, December 11th at 12:30 p.m. for a fire that was burning on both sides of U.S. Highway 183 near Hahn’s Tire south of Stockton. The volunteers worked the area for 45 minutes with approximately an acre burned.

The Rooks County Historical Society is proud to announce the first annual “Merry Kitchmasland!” celebration. Many may wonder what is Kitchmasland. The definition rests on the concept of the word “kitch.”
