Rosalind Gail Vacca, 86, of Colby, died on Saturday, December 21, 2024.She was born on December 7, 1938, in Pueblo, Colo., to Wyeth and DuReece Porr. Gail grew up in Pittsburg, Kansas, and graduated from Pittsburg High School.She met Frank from Frontenac when they were both out with other friends.

Janice Elaine (Wanamaker) McKinnis, 87, passed away on December 11, 2024, in Escondido, Calif.She was born on December 1, 1937, in Clay Center, Kansas. She was the daughter of Howard and Grace Wanamaker, and big sister to Gary and Bruce Wanamaker.

Steven Lee Schemm passed away on December 16, 2024, at his home in Stockton, at the age of 37. He was born on May 15, 1987, to Kevin and Lisa (Griebel) Schemm in Wichita, KS. He married Cassie Chandler on June 29, 2019.

Kenneth "Ken or Kenny" Eugene Roy, age 90, formerly of Stockton and WaKeeney, passed away on December 15, 2024, at the home of his daughter, Joyce, and son-in-law Richard "Rudy" Lawson, in Erie, Colorado.

Gregory "Greg" Lynn Meyers, of Plainville, passed away on December 11, 2024, at Rooks County Health Center in Plainville, at the age of 75.He was born on February 28, 1949, to William Bill and Freeda  Anora (Casey) Meyers in Hays, Kansas. He was married in 1971 to Brenda  Turnbull.

Robert Jay Schamel, 89, formerly of Stockton, passed away on December 1, 2024, in The Woodlands, Texas, where he was living with his son, Kevin.He was born on May 23, 1935, to Harry and Esther (Junker) Schamel in Indianola, Neb. He married Doris Allacher on December 4, 1960, in Herndon, Kansas.

Geraldine “Gerri” Wehrli, formerly of Stockton, Kansas, passed away on November 26, 2024, at the Phillips County Retirement Center in Phillipsburg, Kansas, at the age of 95. She was born on November 8, 1929, to James “Jim” and Bonnie (Montgomery) Lantz in Claremore, Okla. She was married to John L.

Gregory L. Overlease, 68, of Ness City, formerly of Stockton, Norton, and Dresden, passed away on Saturday, November 30, 2024.  He was born August 14, 1956, in Oberlin, Kansas, the son of Cecil and Ramona Overlease.
