He was born on June 8, 1940, to Lawrence and Florence (Mitsch) Hein in Gary, Indiana. He married Judith Ann E. Hrdlicka in Hebron, Indiana on October 7, 1961.

He was born May 19, 1959, in Osborne, the son of Raymond and Laurine (Krier) Mayers. In 1977, he graduated from Osborne High School and then attended Fort Hays State University, earning a bachelor's in Accounting. He was the Chief Financial Officer at Golden Belt Bank, recently retiring after more than 22 years.

Lifelong Phillips County resident, Lee Taylor, passed away Wednesday, July 24, 2024 at the Good Samaritan Hospital in Kearney, Neb. at the age of 88.

He was born February 1, 1936, in Phillips County, KS, the son of Hobart and Geneva (Ragsdale) Taylor. He was a farmer and rancher.

Lee was united in marriage to Mary Lou Elizabeth Hanes on May 16, 1958, in Alma, Neb. She preceded him in death in 2009.

He was born on July 23, 1941, to Elton and Mildred (Opdyke) Lambert in Stockton. He married Pansy Holliday on February 15, 1962, in Stockton. They were blessed with two children: Robbie and Fay.

Norma Jean (LaBarge) Wasinger, 84, of Hays, passed away on Thursday, July 4, 2024, at Logan County Senior Living in Oakley.

She was born on Aug. 2, 1939, in Rooks County, the oldest child of Phillip and Edmae (Desbien) LaBarge.

Norma graduated from Damar High School in 1958. She married R. Roger Wasinger in 1967.

Surviving are her siblings Marvin (Rosanne) LaBarge, Oakley, Ron (Caryn) LaBarge, Libby, Mont., and Phyllis (Tom) Neill, Wichita; and nieces and nephews.

Preceding her in death were her parents, Michael LaBarge in 2014 and her husband in 2015.
