She was born on December 7, 1938, in Pueblo, Colo., to Wyeth and DuReece Porr. Gail grew up in Pittsburg, Kansas, and graduated from Pittsburg High School.

She and Frank enjoyed many years of square dancing throughout Kansas. They also enjoyed traveling during their retirement, and Gail was thrilled to attend a Rose Bowl Parade. In her spare time, Gail liked flower gardening, watching performing arts, spending time with her family, and going to events at the library.
