B & B REDIMIX OF STOCKTON poured new curbing by Printer’s Park on Thursday, November 19th, just in time for the holiday season. The weather cooperated with a sunny day and temperatures in the high 70s.

The third-grade students of Martha Fleck at Stockton Grade School are featured in individual ads in this week’s issue. Each student has created a poster representing what they are thankful for this Thanksgiving.

Just a reminder that this year, with the COVID restrictions, the Sigma Phi ESA Bake Sale will not be held as usual. Instead, the group will be selling holiday cookies, candy and caramel corn as its annual fundraiser, and you can either pick it up or they will deliver.

The Stockton Food Pantry is a program that continues in this community due to the generosity of its local people. As we approach the holiday season, please think about giving to the Pantry by: donating canned goods; making a cash donation; signing up at Stockton City Hall to donate $1.

All districts in Rooks County will be on an extended Thanksgiving break next week with NO School the week of November 23-28. Please enjoy this time with your immediate family. We encourage you to relax and appreciate the time with your loved ones.
