Due to COVID-19, a few of the area churches will not be holding their special Christmas Services this year. Here is information the Stockton Sentinel received from each church: Stockton Assembly of God Regular Sunday Worship Service at 10:30 a.m.
The biggest drop in the County’s tax revenue for the 2020 year comes as no surprise in Oil with a decrease of $1,274,580.99 from the 2019 total of $2,528,560.41. The total for 2020 is $1,253,979.42. Personal Property is down $26,959.92 sitting at $173,337.86 for 2020.
The final numbers of the 2020 fall harvest are as follows: 510,200 bushels of milo and 273,300 bushels of corn taken in at the Stockton Farmers Union Elevator; and 312,500 bushels of milo and 415,000 bushels of corn taken in at Woodston Coop.

District Magistrate Judge Marty Clark of Russell County received the Lee Nusser Award for Outstanding Magistrate Judge of 2020. The Kansas District Magistrate Judges Associ-ation presented the award to Clark at its annual meeting in October.
The Kansas Department of Transportation, Kansas Highway Patrol, Kansas Department of Wildlife, Parks and Tourism and AAA Kansas are working together this fall to raise awareness and help drivers avoid collisions with deer.
