On April 13 Stockton’s junior high tracksters were in Phillipsburg for the competitive Phillipsburg Middle School Invitational.

Stockton sophomore Cason Iwanski has not only made his mark at Stockton High School in the sport of Powerlifting, but he is now a state champion, having won the 2023 KEMFA State Powerlifting Meet in the 140-lb. weight class.

For the first time this season, the Stockton High School Golf Team competed in a varsity tournament. The four-person team of Jack Gasper, Hayden Hilbrink, Emerson Lowry and Max Moffet were among 38 other golfers who took to the links at Rooks County Golf Course on Monday, April 17.

The Stockton Lady Tigers made a good showing at the Kaser Relays last Friday in Osborne, placing fourth as a team with 45 points. Top placers were Ava Dix and the 4x100 Meter Relay.

Fourth Quarter Winners.

The Stockton Tiger Track Team was in Plainville last Tuesday for the Plainville Invitational track meet. Ten teams competed in the meet with the Tiger girls finishing in sixth place with 45 points.

For the first time this season, the RoCo Softball Team was swept in a doubleheader, losing to Spearville last Monday 13-7 and 16-1. In both contests, RoCo struggled to put points on the scoreboard early, while allowing Spearville to get runs in.
