Body The Stockton Tigers hosted the Oakley Plainsmen last Friday in their final home game of the season. Unfortunately, the visitors went back home with two victories as the Lady Tigers fell 46-35, and the Tiger Boys were defeated 77-16.

Body Emerson Lowry fell just short of making a return trip to the state wrestling tourney after he lost a 5-2 decision to Shane Todd of St. Francis in the consolation semifinals of the KSHSAA 3-2-1A Regional Wrestling Tournament held at Beloit on Saturday.

Tigers fall to Osborne in non-league games

Body The Stockton Tigers found themselves on the short end of the scoreboard in both the girls’ and boys’ non-league basketball games against the Osborne Bulldogs last Friday in Stockton. The Lady Tigers were defeated 63-39, while the Tiger boys fell 59-22.

Justin Knoll reaches 100th career win on the mat

Body Former Stockton High School wrestler Justin Knoll reached his 100 career wins milestone on Saturday, February 4, at the Nebraska State Activities Association State Dual Championships held in Kearney. Knoll, who lives in Rising City, Neb.
DAN AND DAWN KNOLL OF STOCKTON shared the joy of their grandson’s recent milestone. Justin Knoll, a senior at Shelby-Rising City High School in Nebraska, reached 100 career high school wins last Saturday in Kearney, Neb.

Vinny Thayer goes 3-0 at Stockton JH Round Robin

Body Stockton Junior High hosted its annual round robin last Thursday with seventh grader Vinny Thayer being the only Tiger to go undefeated on the day. Thayer picked up wins over Betsold of Osborne, Richardson of Smith Center and Graf of Osborne.
