Treyvonn Clark of the Stockton Wrestling Club earned a trip to the state tournament with a fourth-place finish in the 12U 96-pound weight class at the USA Wrestling — Kansas District IV Tournament held Friday, March 6, at Gross Memorial Coliseum in Hays.

Two members of the Stockton Tigers boys basketball team were recently recognized for their efforts during the 2025–2026 season as juniors Jace Kesler and Ashton Nuss received Honorable Mention honors on the Northern Plains League All-League Boys Basketball Team.

The Plainville Lady Cardinals turned in a historic showing at the 2026 KSHSAA Girls 3-1A State Wrestling Championships in Hays, crowning the first state champion in program history and finishing with five total medalists at Gross Memorial Coliseum. As a team, the Lady Cardinals placed fourth with 97.5 points in a tightly contested field.

The Plainville Cardinals closed out their 202526 wrestling season with three medalists at the 2026 KSHSAA 3-1A State Wrestling Championships held Friday and Saturday at Gross Memorial Coliseum on the campus of Fort Hays State University.

The crowd got their money's worth at the girls sub-state quarterfinal action between the Logan-Palco Lady Trojans and Northern Valley Lady Huskies held on Tuesday, Febraury 24 at Almena. It was a close game, with both teams battling for the win, but the Huskies prevailed with a 46-40 win over theTrojans.

The sixth-seeded Plainville Cardinals used a dominant third quarter to break open a tight game and defeat the 11th-seeded Ellinwood Eagles 63-45 in the quarterfinal round of the Smith Center 2A Sub-State Basketball Tournament.

The Stockton Tigers saw their season come to a close Tuesday night as they traveled to Sylvan Grove for sub-state quarterfinal action, falling to the Sylvan-Lucas Mustangs 67-39. Sylvan-Lucas came out strong from the opening tip, building a 24-6 lead by the end of the first quarter.

The Plainville Lady Cardinals saw their season come to a close last Thursday night as they traveled to Medicine Lodge for the quarterfinal round of the Class 2A Sub-State Tournament. The Lady Cards, seeded 13th, were defeated 55--17, bringing their 2025-26 campaign to an end.
