Body The Plainville Cardinals boys basketball team saw its season come to a close last Wednesday night following a hard-fought 52-48 loss to the TMP Monarchs in the semifinal round of the 2A Sub-State Basketball Tournament in Hays. The tournament was hosted by Smith Center.

Body Treyvonn Clark of the Stockton Wrestling Club earned a trip to the state tournament with a fourth-place finish in the 12U 96-pound weight class at the USA Wrestling — Kansas District IV Tournament held Friday, March 6, at Gross Memorial Coliseum in Hays.

Body The Plainville Lady Cardinals turned in a historic showing at the 2026 KSHSAA Girls 3-1A State Wrestling Championships in Hays, crowning the first state champion in program history and finishing with five total medalists at Gross Memorial Coliseum.
