The Stockton High School Lady Tigers capped their season with a strong showing at the KSHSAA Girls 3-1A State Wrestling Championships, held Friday and Saturday at Gross Memorial Coliseum in Hays. Competing against the best in Class 3-1A, Stockton brought home two state medals, highlighted by senior Carolina Northup’s fifth-place finish and senior Saj Snyder’s sixth-place medal performance.

Trojans win sub-state quarterfinal Game against Western Plains

On Monday, February 23, the Logan-Palco Trojans traveled to Ransom to play Western Plains in the quarterfinal round of the sub-state basketball tournament. Trailing in the fourth quarter, the Trojans came roaring back in the final period, outscoring the Bobcats 17-4 to capture the 38-35 win.

Cardinals Send Four to State from Norton Regional

Plainville JH Boys are MCEL Champions

The Mid-Continent Elementary League Wrestling Tournament was held Thursday, February 19, in Ellis, and it proved to be a banner day for the Plainville Cardinals. The Plainville boys captured the MCEL team championship with 179.5 points, outdistancing Norton (166.5) and Phillipsburg (129.5).
