The Kansas State High School Activities Association recently released the classifications for the 2024-25 school year. The classifications are based on the official enrollment figures from grades 9-12 as of September 20, 2024.

Cheyenne Hoeting ran another PR last week at Norton, earning her a fifth-place finish at the meet. Hoeting ran the 5K race (3.1 miles) in a time of 21:49.08. Emma Collins of Norton won the race in time of 20:25.70.

The Stockton Junior High Tigers hosted the Lincoln Leopards in volleyball and football action last Thursday. The Lady Tigers swept Lincoln with the A Team cruising to a 25-17, 25-6 victory over the visitors, the B Team winning 25-9, 25-8, and the C Team coming out on top 26-24, 25-23.

The Stockton Junior High Volleyball Team split in exciting action at Phillipsburg last Tuesday, falling to Hill City, but defeating Phillipsburg. The Lady Tigers lost to Hill City in three sets, 26-28, 25-13, 14-26, but came back to down Phillipsburg in another close match, 25-22, 25-23.

The Stockton Lady Tigers split in volleyball action at home last Tuesday, falling to Sylvan-Lucas, but downing Thunder Ridge. The match against the Lady Mustangs was a tight one, with Stockton coming out on the short end in each set, 23-25, 22-25.

The Stockton Tigers traveled to Hoxie last Friday for a district game with the Indians. The Tigers continue to put up a fight, but they fell 53-0.
