SHS Lady Tigers move to 16-7 on the season

The Stockton Lady Tigers moved to 16-7 on the season after splitting with Lakeside and St. John’s in volleyball action last Tuesday in Downs. All the matches were exciting, with Stockton winning a close one over Lakeside, 27-25, 26-24, but falling to. St. John’s 27-29, 20-25. In junior varsity action, the Lady Tigers split with Lakeside, winning the first set 25-18, and losing the second one, 21-25.

SJH Volleyball sweeps Tescott

It was a sweep for the Stockton Junior High Lady Tigers last Thursday in Stockton, with the A-Team girls downing Tescott 25-9, 25-5, and the B Team winning 25-4, 25-17. In football action at Tiger Stadium, Lane Muir scored a couple touchdowns for Stockton, but the Tigers ended up falling to the visiting Trojans, 60-12.

Tigers score two TDs in loss to Rawlins Co.

Senior Emerson Lowry found the end zone twice last Friday in the Stockton Tigers’ 58-12 loss to Rawlins County in Atwood. The Stockton boys continue to play hard, but are still searching for their first win.

The Kansas State High School Activities Association recently released the classifications for the 2024-25 school year. The classifications are based on the official enrollment figures from grades 9-12 as of September 20, 2024.

Hoeting runs a PR to place fifth at Norton

Cheyenne Hoeting ran another PR last week at Norton, earning her a fifth-place finish at the meet. Hoeting ran the 5K race (3.1 miles) in a time of 21:49.08. Emma Collins of Norton won the race in time of 20:25.70.

SJH Tigers host Lincoln Leopards

The Stockton Junior High Tigers hosted the Lincoln Leopards in volleyball and football action last Thursday. The Lady Tigers swept Lincoln with the A Team cruising to a 25-17, 25-6 victory over the visitors, the B Team winning 25-9, 25-8, and the C Team coming out on top 26-24, 25-23.
