Bryson Vawter, son of Ryan and Erin Vawter, Topeka, has accepted a Division 1 baseball scholarship to play for the Western Kentucky University Hilltoppers in Bowling Green, Kentucky for the 2025-2026 school year. The Hilltoppers compete in the Conference USA.

The Stockton Lady Tigers played their way to a Class 1A DI Regional Championship last Tuesday at home, advancing them to the sub-state tournament this last Saturday in Tribune. In the first match of the evening, the Lady Tigers took care of business against Lakeside, defeating the Lady Knights 25-12, 25-9.
