No spectators will be permitted to attend high school or middle school contests from December 1, 2020 through January 28, 2021, following a recent decision by the KSHSAA Board of Directors. However, schools will plan to do their best to bring the events to the fans.

In a makeup game from November 19, the Stockton Junior High Tigers traveled to Plainville on Monday to take on the Cardinals. Stockton’s A Team boys fell to Plainville 48-9, with Jack Gasper scoring 7 points and Noah Griffin 2.

Stockton’s student/athletes have had to deal with the effects of COVID a lot lately, with the junior high basketball games being halted until after the Thanksgiving holiday. The Tigers are scheduled to host Hill City on December 1, if things go as planned.

The Stockton Junior High Tiger Basketball teams have hit the court running traveling to Oakley last Tuesday, and hosting Norton at home last Thursday. This Tuesday the Tigers were in Hoxie and on Thursday they will host TMP, followed by Ellis on Tuesday, November 17.

Stockton freshman Jonathan Hamel capped off his successful cross country season by earning a 13th-place medal at the Class 1A KSHSAA State Cross Country Meet held last Saturday afternoon at Sand Plum Nature Trail in Victoria.

The Stockton Junior High Tigers will be at home for the first time this basketball season when they host the the Norton Blue Jays in a Mid-Continent Elementary League matchup. Games will begin at 4:30 p.m., with the girls playing in the high school gym, and the boys in the junior high gym.
